Chaotic in appearance, speech and manner, Coyote (if that is truly his name) enjoys mischief and chaos almost as much as he enjoys causing it. Clearly a trickster god of some sort, his origin is unknown - even to himself.

What is Known

Coyote seems vaguely reminiscent of the ancient North American trickster spirit, which usually took the form of its eponymous animal, the coyote. The Coyote of myth was famous for turning situations to his advantage, even going so far as to deliberately engineer disasters so he could swoop in and save the day. Thankfully, our Coyote does not appear to resemble that Coyote all that closely.
